Introduction to Self Care

After booking your desired appointment, feel free to start dreaming about your ideal lashes. Please come to your appointment with no makeup on your eyes. After we get all acquainted, we can start our consultation and determine which style is best suited to your face shape, eye shape and lash health. After that it’s all “sit back, relax and enjoy” whilst I get to work on the new ‘you’. Lash naps are very popular for our on-the-go ladies. Feel free to read up on the different techniques that are offered here.

After I accomplish our goals, you’ll wake up to the new you and equipped with your aftercare instructions, you’ll be on your way to rule the day! Coming to your appointment, please ensure you have clean eyes (ie. no makeup), this in turn gives us more “lash time” rather than losing to “cleaning time”. Lashes have better adherence to clean lashes, so they will look gorgeous for longer and wont shed prematurely.

Do extensions damage your own lashes?

I live by the motto “with proper application, the only way extensions can hurt your own lashes is by fiddling with them”. The technique used to attach the extension to the natural lash is designed to keep your lash health in mind. Whenever any queries arise I am always available to answer them as soon as I can. This is where I pride myself in my service as I am a true believer in healthy lashes and well informed clients.

How do I care for my lash extensions?

After your initial set/fill there are a few do’s and don’t which will help your set last even longer.

First 24 hours (and good tips to adhere to regardless) :

* Please don't get your new lashes wet! No water, steam, sauna or excessive heat.

* Only using approved products on your lashes including cleaning them regularly (no oil based products to be used, these cause premature shedding).

* No fiddling allowed. If you wake up to find one lash is misbehaving you can use your lash wand to try and correct it, but using your fingers will most likely result in lash damage and the oils on your finger will promote premature shedding.

* No mascara necessary.

* Last but not least - don’t forget to brush those beauties! All in all these guidelines seem a lot but actually fits into your life with eaze and a bit of practice.We do it for the love of the lashes.
